The conversion of n-butane was investigated on catalysts prepared on the basis of oxides of cerium, neodymium, praseodymium, and a mixture of oxides of the rare-earth elements; oxides of aluminum, magnesium, and zinc, as well as aluminum silicate and zeolites, were used as the carriers.
The activity of the investigated catalysts was lower than the activity of the individual rare-earth oxides.
