Реферат: Peroxidase was used as a catalyst to activate cathode O reduction Peroxidase did not accelerate electrode reduction of O on a rotating pyrographite disc electrode in neutral solution; there was no direct electron transport from enzyme to the electrode. However, in the presence of hydroquinone as an electron transfer mol., O reduction was accelerated. The quinone-hydroquinone pair served as a low-mol.-weight electron transporter between the peroxidase active site and the electrode. Keywords: peroxidase activation electrode oxygen reduction
