Реферат: A change in the ratio of acidic and hydrogenating components in a metal zeolite catalyst changes the mechanism of paraffin transformation and the rates and mechanism of conversion on the acidic component. Diffusion between sites may be significant in catalysis by metal zeolites, owing to their fine pore structure. Increasing the homogeneity of metal zeolites by incorporating metals within cavities, rather than mech. mixing, leads to higher paraffin conversion rates by reducing diffusional effects.
