Реферат: Complex formation and transformations of nitrogen oxides (NO, N2O) on cations and strong Lewis acid sites in zeolites of the ZSM-5, MOR, LTA, and FAU types were studied by diffuse-reflectance IR spectroscopy. The NOδ+ and N2O3 species yielded on cationic forms via NO disproportionation were shown to exhibit strong oxidizing properties with respect to CO and CH4 molecules. Unlike cationic forms, for the dehydroxylated zeolites or the zeolites containing strong Lewis acid sites, the latter were found to be responsible for the polarization of N2O (either produced from NO via disproportionation or adsorbed from the gas phase), which results in chemisorption of atomic oxygen that displays the oxidizing properties in the reactions of CO and CH4 oxidation to CO2.
