Catalytic properties of the hydrogenation system based on palladium bis-acetylacetonate and phenylphosphine have been studied. Promoting effect of phenylphosphine with low ratio P/Pd has been found. Interaction between phenylphosphine and Pd(acac)2 in hydrogen atmosphere leads to the formation of Pd6P and associates of palladium polynuclear complexes with organophosphorous ligand, on which Pd(0) clusters are immobilized.
