Abstract: The state and chemical properties of iron ions in Fe-ZSM-5 zeolites are studied using the in situ ESR technique. The test reactions which can be used to estimate the concentrations of various types of isolated iron ions in zeolitic matrices are proposed. The formation of extremely stable polynuclear iron-containing structures during reductive treatment of Fe-ZSM-5 zeolite which exhibit uncommon spectra of magnetic resonance is found.
