Abstract: The kinetics of propylene oxidation on a multicomponent oxide catalyst have been investigated at temperatures of 573-663 K. Kinetic equations are proposed for the reactions. It has been shown that the rate of acrolein formation is influenced by the ratio of C3H6 and O2 concentrations and that this effect decreases substantially as the temperature is raised. Within the 573-663 K interval, a change has been shown in the limiting stage of the reaction of acrolein formation.
